We can also make custom lampshade covers from the plastic, as there are many shapes, sizes and varieties avaliable, we don't carry any premade samples, we do custom fit each shade cover we make.
To make a lampshade cover we will either make a pattern right in the customers house (for easy covers) or we will bring one (or more) of the shades into the office to fit it and make the cover.
If you live outside of the Detroit area, send us a picture of the shade you want a cover for, we will quote you a price, you will then have to mail us the shade you want covered, if you have more than one shade and they are the same (such as a set) we will only need one shade, all the required information will be sent to you regarding where and how to send the lamp shade.
Some of the covers such as hour glass shaped and french colonial like pictured above do require velcro to be used to install the covers (See above picture) Once the cover is installed the velcro seam can be turned where its not noticable.
We can also make the covers in a variety of colors the plastic in 5 colors, first is the Clear, this is our most popular as is shows the natural color of the original shade, and matches everything, next is the yellow (gold) this color is good for matching a brass look in your house and for yellow or brown furniture, next is the green, best I can say for this - its green, then the red, the red is actually a deep pink or rose color (See Pic), then the blue, the latest batch of the blue is our darkest color, it actually has a purpleish look to it. If your not sure on if a color is right for you, when we come out we can show you a sample piece on your furniture, or if your out of the area we can send a sample piece.
Our covers come with a 90 day unconditional guarantee and 1 year guarantee on the seams and zippers, at the current time we are the only company in the detroit area to offer this and put it in writing right on the invoice.Also we offer a pretty fast service, in most cases from the time we fit the covers for the plastic, we can have them back and installed in only one week.
